CowManager

A revolutionary ear sensor that monitors cow health worldwide. This is the technology with which the Dutch company CowManager is conquering the agricultural sector. To streamline the sales processes of their global dealer network, they found a partner in Welisa with the same down-to-earth mentality.

CowManager is a pioneer in agri-tech. Their innovative system provides farmers with crucial data on fertility, health, and the nutritional status of their cattle. The company is growing fast, selling its product through dealers all over the world.

The Challenge: Managing a Global Dealer Network

With a rapidly growing international network of dealers, the need for a central system arose. How do you maintain oversight of the global sales funnel? And more importantly, how can you provide optimal support to dealers so they can do their jobs more easily and quickly? CowManager was looking for a scalable solution and a partner who understood their agricultural roots and no-nonsense mentality.

The Solution: Insight and Efficiency for Dealers

The collaboration with Welisa began with an upgrade of the Salesforce environment. “The new dashboards were a breath of fresh air. They provide lightning-fast insight into the most important figures,” says the CowManager team.

The most significant step was the development of a dealer portal using Salesforce Communities. Anke Straathof, Manager of Marketing & Sales, adds: “Dealers can now create orders with ease and find all marketing information in one place. This saves them a lot of time.” The entire solution is continuously developed in short, two-week sprints, in close collaboration with Product Owner Lianne Koot.

The Result: A Foundation for Further Innovation

The implementation has made collaboration with dealers worldwide significantly more efficient. Dealers are better supported, and CowManager has direct insight into its sales processes. Thanks to the agile way of working, the platform is not a static final product but a dynamic system that evolves with the company’s ambitions.
